OVERVIEW

Aluminum and glass panels are used in the construction of Clopay® Avante® garage doors, giving any house or structure a sleek and contemporary appearance. A five-year finish warranty and a three-year hardware warranty are both included with Avante® doors. The following characteristics define Avante AX/AXU:

2-1/8″ commercial grade aluminium frame that is strong and low maintenance, with a variety of glazing options.
Anodized and powder-coated finishes are choices for the frame and solid aluminium panels.
Insulated rails and stiles made of polyurethane (AXU only)
Options for panels include solid aluminium, acrylic, or tempered full-view glass. There are insulated glass garage door panels for greater energy efficiency.
Choose from White, Bronze, Brown, Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized, or Black Anodized from our assortment of aluminium garage door panel colours.
Custom colours are available with ColorBlast.

ASSURANCE FOR THE ENVIORNMENT

Clopay doors are in accordance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Clopay doors are free of HFCs. Clopay doors meet the following requirements:

HB 1112 — Hydrofluorocarbon Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Washington
Ozone-depleting chemicals and halocarbon alternatives rules in Canada have been amended.

LIFTMASTER® ELITE SERIES™

For these garage doors, Clopay recommends LiftMaster® Elite Series® openers. These openers come with a variety of functions that make life much easier.

Choose the frame and panel combination of your choice for your Clopay® Avante® garage doors. Depending on the type of panels you choose, which are available in glass, acrylic, polygal, or solid aluminium finishes, you may control the level of privacy and light that enters the room. There are various conventional colours for the aluminium frame, including clear aluminium (anodized), standard white, bronze (painted), chocolate (painted), bronze (anodized), black (anodized), and dark bronze (anodized). If you require a very precise frame colour, you can choose any colour from our ColorBlast® programme or from hundreds of Sherwin-Williams® colour selections.

The anodizing process might cause colour variations. For a bronze finish hue that is more constant, “Bronze (Painted)” should be used. Offers custom colour options.

The Clopay® Avante® garage doors are made in the USA by skilled artisans. Tempered glass, solid aluminium frame panels, acrylic, polygal, or insulated glass can all be used to create these glass and aluminium doors. Another choice has a 3.8 R-value polyurethane-insulated frame (with clear insulated glass). The garage (or any other area where your door is installed) is shielded from the elements by the changeable vinyl bottom weather seal in a rust-free aluminium retainer.

Integral section joint seal to prevent water and air infiltration even further.

Smooth flat frame edges for a more modern appearance.

On doors wider than 14′, a strengthening fin is added. Standard doors that are 12′ or shorter do not have an integrated reinforcing fin. Use on widths 12’2″ to 14′ depends on the weight of the glass. WINDCODE® doors could differ.

It is made of 2-1/8″ thick, tough commercial grade aluminium, making it durable and essentially maintenance-free.

Model AXU is comprised of 3.8 R-value polyurethane insulation and 2-1/8″ thick commercial grade aluminium (with clear insulated glass)
